Family mini shoots
Every year I offer a handful of mini shoots for Christmas, Easter and Family (and a few more). My family minis are always quick to go and to be honest I’m always torn if I should even offer them, to me family shoots are so special, I want everyone to get the full experience with galleries of 60+ pictures and the perfect lighting at golden hour. Of course I know that’s not realistic so as a thank you to my amazing clients that come back to me year after year, milestone after milestone, I offer mini’s to existing clients only, kind of a way for me to say thank you.
A lot goes into the perfect outdoor location, number one being lighting and the best lighting is within two hours of sunset but with mini shoots, I have to start earlier and that means mid day in October. I started this day at 2:30 and my last shoot was at 5:00, I love seeing how the editing and lighting changed throughout the day. In this slideshow the pictures are in order from the start of my day to the end and is a great example of the different times and different lighting.

Loved this simple cakesmash shoot we did for this serious little guy! Mom wanted a simple set and to add on some family shots as well and I love how it turned out!
